Special bicycle for sale on special day for bikes in Boise. 1983 Royal Green Miyata 1000 Grand Touring Edition. A few upgrades/changes have been made but still have all original parts that were removed minus tubes, cables, cable housings, and original foam on bars. Upgrades are new break levers, cables and housings, saddle (nothing special but way more comfortable than the original), and break pads. New set of Continental Duraskin +k hand made in Germany tires with less than 50 miles on them. The little sprue nubs are still there. When I say factory stock I mean it. Minus the above listed items not kept I have all the parts to put it back to original and polish for display. 23"/58cm frame. True to Japanese craftsmanship these tubes were drawn at the Miyata factory and have perfect long-point crown cut lugs. You can't find a frame alone that rides like this unless you are will to spend a lot more than I am expecting. I rescued this from a garage in Garden Valley, ID where it sat under a tarp since 1985. Bike was overhauled by touring bike shop that was in Hyde Park right after I got it. Sorry, can't remember the shop/guy's name but it's a shame they closed
