Write Your Resume with these strategies to Sell You Top Skills in Boise, ID

More important than ever is having a resume that will SELL your TOP skills in SECONDS! So that employers pick up the phone and call you for an interview!
How do you know what skills employers want and need? It's easy to identify these skills by collecting want ads for any and all jobs you are interested in. Then make a list of all of the important skills you find in them that you possess, and be sure they are included in your resume. While this sounds simple few job seekers do this. Analyzing skills in this way is extremely important because you want to make sure that you include as many of the requested skills as possible in your resume. I also found that most job seekers missed about 35% to 70% of ALL SKILLES LISTED in an ad! ISN'T THAT AMAZING... it certainly explains why most resumes are so terrible! In general, it means that most job seekers don't really know what they're doing as they try to write their resumes!

The ad lists 5 key skills yet in resume workshops, most people only identify 1 or 2 of the skills. And this newspaper ad is only about a ¼ inch in length. Teaching this in classes, it became readily apparent to me that people read a job ad, jump to some conclusions about what 'they think' is needed. However, what they really need to do is underline all skills in each job ad that they possess. Then build their resumes around these skills and abilities.
