Thisposition reports to the Dean of the Graduate College or designee. Graduate education is the major influence underlying the emergence ofBoise State University as a research university. An important factor in the continuing success of the graduate effort will be implementationof a centrally coordinated graduate recruiting function. The new function will ensure unified, professional, and effective graduaterecruiting by the university and its graduate programs. The Director of Graduate Recruiting will be responsible for development,implementation, and maintenance of the new university-wide graduate recruiting function, and will be charged with increasing the breadth,depth, and diversity of the graduate candidate pool.
